Start with what you want to earn.
A large discount is easy to announce. A useful Black Friday plan needs more thought. Which products should sell? Who should buy them? How much can you spend to win an order? What must remain after the costs?
We answer those questions before choosing a banner or writing an advert. The offer must fit the customer and the business. An offer that attracts orders but leaves too little money can create a very busy problem.
More orders are useful when the numbers work. Choose the business goal first: profitable sales, stock clearance or a reason for the right customer to try the brand.
Do the simple calculation.
Here is an illustration, not a client result or an industry average. A product sells for 100 and costs 60 to supply. Before other costs, 40 remains. Reduce the price by 30% and the selling price becomes 70. Now only 10 remains before advertising, delivery and other costs.
The discount has changed much more than the headline. You need to know how the extra orders affect the business before deciding whether the offer makes sense.
We look at product costs, customer value, stock and the work needed to fulfil orders. A bundle, selected product offer or different threshold may fit better than reducing everything by the same amount.
Give the customer a reason.
Study the alternatives the customer can buy. What do they get elsewhere? What matters most: price, certainty, convenience, quality or the whole package? The answer changes the offer and the words on the page.
Then check the website, payment, stock information and customer messages. The promise in the campaign must survive the order. If the product is difficult to sell in a crowded market, we say so. Another discount may not be the answer.
Our Black Friday service brings the analysis, offer, website, automation and campaign preparation together—and more, where the business needs it. Contact us to plan the work before the rush.
Start with one proposed offer and work it through. What does the customer pay? What remains after product cost, delivery, advertising and returns? Can the team handle the extra orders? This simple exercise often changes which discount deserves promoting. We help connect those decisions, the customer message and the website, and more, before the campaign goes live.
